OK, I got stdwin, and installed it (easy, Guido!)
After changing stdwinmodule.c to stdwinmodule.o in the above lines and
included them in my Setup, I got:
spwotch ;make
(cd Modules; make -f Makefile.pre Makefile)
/bin/sh ./makesetup Setup
bad word $(LIBTEXTEDIT) in stdwin stdwinmodule.o -I$(STDWIN)/H $(LIBTEXTEDIT) $(LIBX11STDWIN) -lX11
*** Error code 1
make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `Makefile'
Current working directory /usr/src/dtek/pd/python-1.0.3/Modules
*** Error code 1

spwotch ;
'bad word'? A little cryptic... Anyone?
