Python Archives

I have kept (almost) all messages posted to the Python mailing list and newsgroup. These are now accessible as hypertext, converted by Kevin Huges' excellent hypermail program. The archive is divided up in chronological sections, as follows:

• most recent messages -- updated daily
• 1994 second quarter -- growth of comp.lang.python
• 1994 first quarter -- including the birth of comp.lang.python
• 1993 -- growth of mailing list
• 1992 -- birth of mailing list

The newsgroup, comp.lang.python, contains the same messages as the mailing list, so there is no reason to subscribe to the mailing list unless you can't receive the newsgroup.
