flexfax: (Fwd) facsimile job 77 to +39113168670 failed

Hi,
I have a problem sending postrcript files generated by windows 95.
I have installed the Adobe PS drivers for the Apple laserwriter 
16/600 PS fax as suggested, with the 'maximum portability' option.
This way, almost everything goes right... I've sent web pages, simple 
word documents...
BUT when I try to send word97 documents that contain bitmaps, or 
slides powerpoint, I get this error:

This archive was created with tar, compress, and uuencode.
The original files can be recovered by applying the following commands:

    uudecode			# generates rts.tar.Z file
    zcat rts.tar.Z  | tar xvf -	# generates separate files

and the job can be resubmitted using the following command:

    sendfax -d +39113168670 -D doc119.77 doc120.77 doc121.77

I am using a redhat Linux 4.2, with aladdin Ghostscript 5.10 and
Hylafax V3

Any ghostscript/postscript/hylafax guru can give me a hint of the 
cause ?
