There are three distributions for Linux/i386


elf versions

   bxform-0xx.tgz built against old libc (libc.so.5)

   bxform-0xx-glibc.tgz was compiled again glibc (i.e., libc.so.6)
   (RedHat 5.0, 5.2)

   bxform-0xx-glibc2.1.tgz was compiled against glibc2.1 (libc.2.1.1,
   libc.so.6) most compatible with RedHat 6.0

a.out version was produced on a Pentium PC running Linux 1.0.8 with
      XFree 2.1 (X11 R5). 
      Runs fine with a.out XF3.1 (X11 R6)
