Hi, for all those of you who are desperately awaiting the return of BeMail I have written
the basic stuff to get you going.

Included are a mail application similar to BeMail, a pop client similar to the mail_daemon of DR8.x,
a smtp-client that sends your mail and a preferences application similar to that in DR8.x

What is the caveat ?
There is no support for attachments at the moment, however, just copying and pasting
the uuencoded/base64 stuff and decode it manually should work for now.
The timezone is hardcoded as +0200 (central europe), sorry for that
Please do only use exactly one _1_ recipient, do not use cc because it is unsupported right now.

Installation

unpack the archive and run the file "InitMessageType".
This will add a mime-type for message/rfc822, look in FileTypes for details...
After that, run MailPrefs to setup your personal mail account,
Start Pop4U to be able to receive mail.
This will store incoming messages at the location you specified in the preferences before.
WARNING: The mails will be deleted from the popserver..
Doubleclicking the Mail4U application brings up a window outlining the mails in your 
incoming folder. Create subfolders in this incoming folder as you like
After choosing send in Mail4U the mail is _not_ actually sent but you must use
Push4U to send all pending mails in your outbox..

These applications use Jon Watte's libprefs100, be sure to get it, too, or you won't
have fun with this collection
