Scope is a real-time oscilloscope used to view both the audio-out and the audio-in stream. You can also use Scope to save either audiostream to a file, so you can use it to
record from an external source, or you can use it to record MODs to a file. In combination with the other soundtools , you can use it to mix multiple files into a single file, resample a file to another samplerate, apply echo to a file, etc.
To save audio to a file, click on the "save" button for the stream you wish to save,
and select a file. The data is saved
in raw format, without any header. While saving, Scope will show you how many kilobytes have been saved
already. To stop saving, click the "stop" button, or quit Scope.
There are several display modes available, to choose one, click on the waveform displays
and select the desired mode.
Scope assumes it is running on 16 bit big-endian stereo streams (the default). If it
isn't, the displays will not show the actual waveforms, but saving of audio will still
work.
